BARR NEWS

People:
We are very pleased that after 6 months of lying on the beach and generally lolly gagging around, Dean Barrett our Account Manager specializing in marine and Custom Fabrication Applications has returned to work on a part time basis. We expect it will be difficult for Dean to get back into the routine so please feel free to abuse him for awhile. We are pleased to report that Dean’s extensive surgery to his ankle has been so successful that we are now considering other body parts. All kidding aside we have missed Dean and it will be great to have him back!

On a much sadder note, all of us at BARR are suffering along with our Controller, Christine Carnahan for the recent tragic loss of her son Robert in an accident. We are all trying to support Christine in whatever way we can through this tragic event in her life.

We are also sad to report the passing of Barney Barrett during the morning hours of June 20, 2006. Barney, along with his wife Marlene Barrett established B. C. SILO & TANK LTD. up until January 1, 1997 at which time the four (4) sons assumed management and control of the business and later renamed the business BARR Group Enterprises Inc.

Barney is survived by his wife Marlene and his sons Dean, Lane, Tim and Lance, all of whom are shareholders and Directors of BARR Group Enterprises Inc. and BARR Plastics Inc. Barney lived with MS for many years and the disease ultimately lead to his death in the evening of June 20, 2006. He will no doubt be missed greatly by his wife, sons, and large extended family.

Products:
Once again over the past three months we have been busy adding new products and services based upon the needs of our customers. In addition to our major announcement that BARR is now the BC Distributor for the Snyder line of Industrial Tanks, we have recently added the Macro Plastics Line of Agricultural Bulk Containers and the Thunderbird Plastics line of Agricultural containers.

Services:
BARR is expanding our Fabrication Capacity and services offered. If you are a BARR customer and you have a need related to Plastic Tanks or Container systems let us know and we will do our best to ensure your needs are met.
