The plastics fabrication dept. of BARR Plastics Inc. specializes in the fabrication of custom designed poly tanks and poly tank modifications. We work with any type of custom tank requirement for all facets of industry.

One of BARR's main areas of expertise is custom marine tanks. BARR has built custom marine tanks in 10 US gals. to 1800 U.S. gals. Our tanks are used by some of the prominent boat builders and marine service companies in Western North America. A large percentage of these tanks were shipped to the US.

BARR uses an FDA approved high molecular weight polyethylene that is UV stable. Small tanks are built of 3/8” material & larger tanks of ½” material, internal baffling is included on all tanks. This gives the tanks superior strength and eliminates permeability. We use only heavy-duty FNPT fittings machined from solid poly stock.

BARR uses the most modern extrusion welding equipment available to ensure quality welds. All tanks are water tested in the shop to a 6’ head ensuring strength and leak proof joints.

BARR also build tanks and tank liners for the plating industry, laboratories , bio-products and all types of food processing. We can fabricate almost anything that can be conceived.
