For septic system
replacement and new home construction, NORWESCO‘s polyethylene
septic tanks are designed for durability and quick, easy installation.
Any NORWESCO septic tank can be transported to the job site
in a pickup truck and carried by just two people. That enables
you to install the tank on your schedule.
All NORWESCO
septic tanks are manufactured by means of the rotational molding
process, which produces a one-piece, seamless, watertight
tank. Polyethylene is unaffected by soil chemicals and by
the chemicals and gases present in sewage, so NORWESCO septic
tanks will not rust or corrode and require no additional coatings
as other tanks do. NORWESCO’s strict quality guidelines ensure
an environmentally safe septic tank.
NORWESCO septic
tanks come equipped with manhole covers and detailed installation
procedures. Manhole extensions and lid/riser combinations
are available to bring tank access to grade and to meet code
specifications.
PRE-PLUMBING:
We have begun the process of offering our septic tanks as "pre-plumbed" tanks. The pre-plumbed tanks include
"T" assemblies installed at the inlet and outlet.
Each "T" is rotationally molded and made of polyethylene.
The thickness of the "T" exceeds the thickness of
Schedule 40 PVC. Tees are sized/cut according to each state
code so the tank that you receive will be ready to install
as is. The T's are fastened to the tank wall with four stainless
steel screws. Finally, a foamed, polyethylene gasket is placed
between the T and the tank wall to assure watertightness.
The 300 and 500
gallon spheres are being made with a "hubbed" inlet
and flat outlet. It is apparent that most of the spheres are
used as pump chambers or lift stations and as a result, we
believe the new style of inlet and outlet will prove to be
the best design for the majority of applications.
DOMED LIDS: All
our septic tanks are outfitted with the new domed lid. These
domed lids are significantly stronger than previous lids offered.
It comes attached to the tank from the factory with four stainless
steel screws and comes standard with a foamed, polyethylene
gasket between the lid and the tank. This gasket provides
a watertight seal at the lid area.
NORWESCO septic
tanks are backed by a full 3-year warranty and have been approved
by state and local health departments from coast to coast.
Where applicable, NORWESCO septic tanks have been approved
by both CSA and IAPMO.
Across the United
States and Canada, there are certain health code requirements
that our tanks must meet. These codes are regulated by the
province, state, or county.
